  • 72 Rhodes Bake 'N Serve Yeast Dinner Rolls
  • 144 Hillshire Farm Lit'l Smokies Smoked Sausage
  • 2-3 eggs
  • Water
  • 1 stick of butter (8 tbsp)
  • 2 garbage bags (or other water resistant bags)

Directions

  1. The night prior to making these, put the dough balls on 2 cookie sheets (10" x 15"). Place the cookie sheets in garbage bags and then into the fridge overnight.
  2. Cut the balls into half, place a sausage into each half, and roll the dough around the sausage.
  3. Place 36 balls onto each cookie sheet (might want to spray the sheets with nonstick spray or use parchment paper).
  4. Create an egg wash with 1 egg (egg + a few tbps of water). Place the egg wash on all the dough.
  5. Allow the dough to rise. By the time they are done rising, they should be touching one another. If they begin to dry out, put some more egg wash on them.
  6. Bake each sheet in an oven at 350° F for 20 minutes
  7. Once they come out of the over, place a light layer of butter over them.
